I love all things worldbuilding, hence my username. I also love the act of creating something, whether it’s a work of art or a useful tool. A fire poker, a bowl, or even a walking stick can all be beautiful in their own way, as long as they work and are made with care.

My personal philosophy and worldviews:

I am a utilitarian, and this shapes all of my other views. I want to maximize the amount of well-being for humanity (and any other sapient species), which means making plans for extreme long-term survival. If you’ve ever read The Last Question, you know what I mean. As such, I am transhumanist.

 I believe that well-being should be extended to everyone, even people who are already dead. As such, I adhere to Cosmism.

I want to maximize economic utility. There’s a concept in utilitarian philosophy called the Utility Monster, meant as an argument against some definitions of the common good. In terms of economic utility the upper class are an exact analog. As such I am a devout communist.

I oppose any other nonessential hierarchy for the same reasons. As such I am anarchist, antifascist, and against any kind of prejudice or bigotry.
