Virat Kohli Fumes Over Bowling Changes During DC Game, Video Goes Viral | Watch
The Axar Patel-led team chased down 164 with 13 deliveries to spare as Royal Challengers Bengaluru slumped to their second defeat in IPL 2025.

Ace India batter and Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Virat Kohli was seen fuming at the boundary line during Delhi Capitals’ run chase at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday, seemingly raging at Rajat Patidar’s leadership in an animated mid-game chat with Dinesh Karthik.
The Axar Patel-led team chased down 164 with 13 deliveries to spare. For most of Delhi’s innings, Bengaluru were in with a chance of winning the game, but once KL Rahul went all guns blazing, the chance withered away fast.

“This is an animated conversation with the coach, Dinesh Karthik. He has to communicate this with captain Rajat Patidar in the middle. Rajat is the captain of this team," former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra said on air.
“I think Virat Kohli is speaking about the last over where Josh Hazlewood conceded 22 runs," Chopra’s co-commentator Virender Sehwag said.
Once Hazlewood returned for his second spell, Rahul used the extra pace to good effect to manufacture big shots, such as a scorching six over the bowlers’ head.
Tristan Stubbs too joined his partners with two straight hits off Bhuvneshwar Kumar to the fence as Delhi strolled home.
However, they had a horror start to the chase as Faf du Plessis, who came back for this game after missing the match against the Chennai Super Kings with a niggle, skied Yash Dayal for Patidar to complete a fine catch.
The mode of dismissal echoed twice as soon as Jake-Fraser McGurk and Abhishek Porel walked back to the shed in the same manner.
The visitors were in a quagmire at 30/3, well inside the Power Play, which they finished at 39/3.
Rahul and skipper Axar (15) added 28 runs for the fourth wicket and the Delhi innings seemed to have gotten back on the track.
RCB play their next game against the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, April 13, in Jaipur.
