South Carolina QB consoles devastated Tennessee QB in classy moment after Gamecocks win
Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano was devastated after he failed to throw the game-tying touchdown in the final seconds of the Volunteers' 15-9 loss to South Carolina on Saturday.
Guarantano, in his first start, had a few chances at the two-yard line within the last five seconds. He fell to the ground with his head in his hands when the game ended.
He stayed there until South Carolina QB Jake Bentley jogged over, helped Guarantano up and gave him a hug.
That's an awesome display of sportsmanship right there.
And props to Guarantano for handling his postgame press conference like a pro.
Tennessee will go up against Alabama next Saturday.
